Welcome to the official webpage of the Lively MS Boys Basketball Team! As a cornerstone of our school's athletic program, our basketball team embodies the values of teamwork, determination, and excellence both on and off the court. Led by our dedicated coaches and fueled by the passion of our players, we strive for greatness with every dribble, pass, and shot. Coaching Staff: 

Johnny Galan (7th Grade A Team)- johnny.galan@austinisd.org

Mr. Lively himself, Coach Galan has been at Fulmore/Lively for over 20 years. He does it all, coaching not only Girls Basketball but Boys BB, football and track as well. He brings over 15 years of coaching experience. He is also one of our tremendous Mock Trial/ Law teachers and can be frequently seen taking A+ student lawyers to various Travis County courts around the city.

Kellen Chrane (8th Grade A Team)- kellen.chrane@austinisd.org 

Kellen Chrane is entering his first full year as a teacher and coach here at Lively. A Dallas native, he attended The University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2024. He brings a wealth of experience in the game of basketball, but more importantly is excited to push these athletes to be the best version of themselves they can be!
