MAP Growth is our benchmark assessment that measures student growth using a steady metric three times a year. We track student progress in reading and math to ensure our instructional practices are supporting every child at Lively. Across AISD, all schools will take MAP Growth Beginning of Year assessments in September.
All students will take their MAP Growth Reading and Math exams during extended Advisory blocks. This will not impact lunch times, and we will run an adjusted A-day and B-day schedule. Students will attend every class on testing days, with shortened 1-hour classes. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s Math or ELAR teacher. Students will be engaged in goal-setting activities in Math and ELAR classes to focus on individual growth and success, as we focus on each student’s individual learning and needs.
